I want to thank Turner West and Katherine Pinero for their leadership in our Volunteer program. They have worked, and continue to work, to make this program successful, constantly recruiting, training and supporting our volunteers in numerous ways. Turner and Katherine also do a terrific job in the PR department with their willingness to spread the word ... they are poised and knowledgeable, even while on live TV!!

Thank you for sharing this memory. I am proud to be a part of an organization that reaches out and helps with suffering regardless of the distance.

John, what a great experience for you. I am so moved by the words you chose to describe this intimate ceremony. It's interesting to hear about the funeral customs of other cultures, although different from what I have experienced physically, but yet the same emotionally. Thank you for sharing.

All I can say as an out of stater and huge fan of Hospice of the Bluegrass, is that this program and the people associated with it are heros and heroines of the highest order. From all the way up in Ohio, Hospice of the Bluegrass beams its light of hope and love with both tenderness and intensity.
