Healing Hooves

Hospice of the Bluegrass and Central Kentucky Riding for HOPE are joining together for Healing Hooves: a 3-day event July 25, 26 and 28. This program will incorporate the use of horses to help facilitate the grieving process for Kentucky children and teenagers ages 6 to 17 years old who have experienced the death of a loved one. A screening and application process is required prior to participation. Application deadline July 18, 2012 Registration fee is $30 per child or $35 for a family. Scholarships are available. Camp ECHO/HOPE Combined Camp

September 7-9, 2012: A weekend retreat at Cathedral Domain Camp and Conference Center in Irvine, Kentucky for children, ages 6 to 12, who have experienced the death of a loved one within the past two years. Space is limited, registration is required by August 31, 2012. Registration fees: $30 per child or $35 per family if more than one child is attending. Camp scholarships are available if needed.
