Chaplain Mentoring Program

Area seminary students who will be enrolled in a Mentored Ministry course may apply for placement at Hospice of the Bluegrass.  This placement is ideal for highly motivated students who seek real experience in pastoral care ministry.  

Students will be provided with 20-24 hours of required training and orientation prior to visiting patients under the supervision of a staff chaplain.  A minimum of 12 weeks with 8 hours per week are required following the training.  Preference is given to students who are available to work weekend afternoons in our inpatient unit.
