Education

Hospice of the Bluegrass has an extensive network of community and professional educational offerings. They range from Speakers Bureau presentations at community organizations, churches and institutions to professional presentations at local, regional, national and international conferences.

Hospice staff and the professional community are afforded many opportunities for continuing education. Hospice of the Bluegrass is a provider of Nursing and Social Work Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and the host to numerous educational workshops, conferences and trainings where professionals can obtain CEUs.

Hospice of the Bluegrass' close proximity to higher education institutions gives students the opportunity to be placed in Hospice settings relevant to their educational field. Students in various fields such as Nursing, Social Work, Pharmacy, Medical and Clinical Pastoral Education are oriented through a placement or rotation at Hospice.
