HOB Volunteer Training
Hospice volunteers are specially trained. Trainings are offered numerous times throughout the year and are designed to give volunteers the information that they will need in order to be and feel well-prepared for their role as a Hospice volunteer.
Volunteers can attend training at any site, and can choose what area they want to volunteer. Training is provided at no cost to the volunteer and requires no further obligation. For dates, times and locations of trainings, please see our Volunteer Training Schedule or contact the Coordinator of Volunteer Services at the site nearest you.
The teaching sheets listed below address a number of topics and are often useful to volunteers as well as to hospice staff and families.
