Volunteers can attend training at any site, and can choose what area they want to volunteer. Training is provided at no cost to the volunteer and requires no further obligation. For dates, times and locations of trainings, please see our Volunteer Training Schedule or contact the Coordinator of Volunteer Services at the site nearest you.

Teaching Sheets

The teaching sheets listed below address a number of topics and are often useful to volunteers as well as to hospice staff and families.

Teen Volunteers

Hospice of the Bluegrass welcomes teen volunteers. Teen volunteers must be a minimum of 14 years old or a freshman in High School.
